The Mickle Center is owned and operated by the Neighborhood Investment Corporation (NIC), a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

Myers Park Playground

In 2025, the Mickle Center and Sherman Hill Neighborhood Association partnered to bring a public playground to the neighborhood.

Bankers Trust Giving Garden

A community garden managed by volunteers from Bankers Trust is located on the west side of the Mickle Center.

History of the Building

Constructed in 1960 as the Jewish Home for the Aged, this building stands on the site of the former Younkers mansion.
